A Complete Approach to Lasting Sobriety: Body, Mind, and Spirit

True recovery is more than just stopping a habit—it is about rebuilding a grounded, peaceful life. Because addiction impacts every layer of who we are, true healing requires a framework that honors the whole person.
I offer a unique, independent peer coaching framework that bridges the gap between modern physical wellness, Eastern mindfulness, and Western devotional discipline. Together, we focus on three core pillars:
- Layout focused on The Body: Utilizing practical nutrition and a "food as medicine" approach to repair the nervous system and stabilize your physical foundation.
- Layout focused on The Mind: Implementing somatic grounding, breathwork, and deep meditation techniques to navigate cravings and quiet the noise of addictive thought patterns.
- Layout focused on The Spirit: Drawing strength from a multi-faith perspective—blending the discipline and grace of traditional Western faith with the profound inner stillness of Eastern spiritual traditions.
Lived Experience. Dedicated Study.
I am a practicing peer coach with years of continuous, active sobriety. But my journey with recovery didn’t start later in life—it began when I was 11 years old.
Growing up in the shadow of an alcoholic mother, I was introduced to the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous as a child. I spent decades witnessing, navigating, and personally battling the complex, generational cycles of addiction. My own path to wellness included the lived experience of checking into rehabs and surviving previous attempts at sobriety that proved completely unsustainable because I lacked a proper foundation. I learned the hard way that willpower alone fails without a structured framework.
Later, I took that survival to the front lines of the recovery system, working in the transportation department for Pyramid Healthcare. Moving individuals directly to and from detox units, I learned firsthand how to meet people with calm, grounded support at the absolute rawest, most vulnerable turning points of their lives.
My approach combines a lifetime of survival and front-line experience with extensive, structured education:
- Targeted Addictions Education: Ongoing specialized training through NAADAC (The National Association for Addiction Professionals), with dedicated coursework in The Science of Addiction and Spirituality of Healing, Mindfulness in Recovery, and Practical Nutrition for Peer Coaching.
- Meditation & Eastern Practice: Certified meditation instructor and graduate of the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) course by Paramahansa Yogananda, alongside two years of dedicated Buddhist practice.
- Western Spiritual Tradition: A practicing traditional Catholic, bringing the grounded frameworks of prayer, discipline, and divine grace to the recovery journey.
I don't teach textbook theories. I offer a compassionate, real-world partnership rooted in a lifetime of lived experience, spiritual depth, and physical wellness.
